WAJIBIKA MAMA AISHI

Every day in Tanzania, 24 women die due to complications in pregnancy, childbirth and post-delivery.

But many pregnant women and newborns with fatal complications could be saved if only they had access to Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (CEmONC).

The only way to avoid these unnecessary deaths is for pregnant women to have access to CEmONC in a facility where, among other things, operations, caesarean sections and safe blood transfusions can be performed.

We need the government to properly fund this life-saving emergency care.
PLEASE JOIN US IN URGING THE GOVERNMENT TO SAVE WOMEN AND NEWBORNS’ LIVES DURING CHILDBIRTH BY PROVIDING SPECIFIC FUNDS FOR CEmONC IN NEXT YEAR’S BUDGET.
